✨ 5-Month Update: Dollar Tree Glass Cutting Board Sublimation Tests ✨

One of my proudest projects has to be my Dollar Tree Glass Sublimation experiment. I had an absolute blast dialing in the perfect settings for my HTVRONT Auto Heat Press 2—back when it was still fresh out of the box! If you haven’t seen the video yet, I’d love for you to check it out and let me know what you think.

I wanted to share how the different methods I tested have held up over time—here’s what I’ve observed:

:one: Oracal 651 Permanent Vinyl (Matte)
The design is still visible, but the colors have gradually faded over the past 5 months. Not bad, but definitely some loss in vibrancy.

:two: HTVRONT Sublimation HTV (Clear)
This one’s a winner! The hummingbird design looks just as vibrant as day one—no fading at all. It’s held the original colors beautifully.

:three: Scotch Laminating Sheet
Still going strong! I made this tropical design back in November 2024, and the colors are still amazing. Super impressed with the longevity.

:four: HTVRONT Sublimation HTV Matte (Dark Fabrics)
The colors remained vibrant and beautiful—still holding strong to this day.

:sparkles: Out of all the methods I’ve tested, HTVRONT Sublimation HTV (Clear) and Scotch Laminating Sheets have been my top picks so far—they’ve held up beautifully over time! I’d love to hear from you: Have you tried either of these? Or do you have a go-to method that’s worked best for your sublimation projects? Let’s compare notes! :art:

Wow, thank you for such a thoughtful update! This is an incredibly helpful reference for crafters looking to explore glass sublimation. I really appreciate the clarity—it gave me a much better idea of which option holds color the longest. So useful!
