Holidays are hard when you have lost a loved one, but we made new traditions and new friends to navigate a new normal. After house hoping between friends and neighbors, my family went to Santa’s Wonderland, Texas style. My kids got to play in “snow” almost getting frost bite between building a snowman and a snowball fight; left their gloves in the hotel . We took a hayride to see Christmas Lights and made plans for next year’s Santa’s Wonderland trip. My squares are 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20.
