Motivational Monday Check-In: Stringing Joy, One Ornament at a Time!
Happy Monday, HTVRONT family!
As I sit here finishing up and stringing 100 ornaments, I’m reminded that crafting is more than just creating — it’s building moments of joy, one project at a time.
Sometimes the process feels repetitive or time-consuming, but when you see that final stack of beautiful creations (like these festive ornaments), it’s proof that every little step adds up to something amazing.
Today’s motivation:
“Success is the sum of small efforts — repeated day in and day out.”
So whether you’re weeding vinyl, pressing shirts, or cutting out the tiniest details, know that every piece you touch is part of your bigger creative journey.
Let’s kick off the week strong and inspired!
It’s a great game indeed. I just wish I’d win the game sometimes. ![]()
Only 7 hrs left! ![]()
Oh wow, scary stuff. Stay safe. ![]()
I guarantee that there’s a tiny bit of weeded vinyl still lurking somewhere, patiently waiting to get stuck to your skin or your clothes, if it isn’t there already! ![]()
Day 20 - Kicking off the week with a rake in hand—these maple leaves have been putting on a show in my backyard! I’ll miss the vibrant fall vibes once they’re gone (which looks like it’ll be this week). Already dreaming of spring blooms ahead!
Check-in Day 20 Today, I’ll be learning more about the new Canva updates and how to use their new Affinity software. Affinity is new to me, and I learned that Canva bought it and made it free for everyone. So, I’m off to play with it for awhile and will be doing some studio cleaning, later. I’ll probably also try another print then cut, at some point.
Wishing all of you a fantastic week! Can’t wait to see what everyone makes. ![]()
Day 20: creating an item into something else is always fun so today I shared a project I did last year and plan to do something similar this year a staked pumpkin into a snow man.
What have you made into something different?
At least you get to see the colorful leaves of fall. I live in southeast Texas, so there are only green-on-the-tree and brown-on-the-ground leaves here.
I enjoy your pics of the colorful leaves! ![]()
Sending healing vibes your way. ![]()
Sending prayers for you and your area. ![]()
Stay safe.
It’s a lot of fun and gets super hot. Depending on image keep paper slightly larger to tape it pacing image face up then putting metal sheet down onto it and tape it helps. I have made a bunch of metal business cards for people in the past as well as photos and taping that way worked best for me.
