Story: Our family most definitely are beach Bums and we love the themes, sand, colors and fresh ocean air that’s my reason for this incredible inspiration!
Sunlight danced across the waves as a soft ocean breeze carried the scent of salt and summer. Sitting on a weathered beach table was my little candy jar—once a simple candle, now transformed into a bright coastal treasure. The palm design wrapped around it like a memory of warm days and sandy toes, while colorful treats peeked out like seashells waiting to be discovered.
It wasn’t just a candy dish—it was a piece of summer. A reminder of laughter, ocean air, and slow, peaceful moments by the shore. Just for today, it holds sweetness… and a little bit of sunshine.
Story:
There was a time when my life felt like a storm that never quite moved on—loud, messy, always circling back. Drama had a way of sneaking into everything, pulling at my peace, stealing my focus, and leaving me drained. It became normal… until one day I realized normal didn’t have to feel that heavy.
Little by little, I started choosing different. Not perfectly, not all at once—but intentionally. I learned to pause before reacting, to step back instead of stepping in, and to protect my peace like it was something precious… because it is. Some days that meant walking away. Some days it meant staying quiet. And other days, it meant simply reminding myself that not everything deserves my energy.
Letting go of drama wasn’t about changing everyone around me—it was about changing how I showed up. I stopped feeding into things that didn’t grow me. I started focusing on what brought me joy, what kept me grounded, and what aligned with the life I’m building now.
That’s where this “No Drama Llama” comes from. It’s more than just a cute design—it’s a reflection of a promise I’ve made to myself. To keep things lighter. To choose peace over chaos. To protect the calm I’ve worked so hard to find.
I may not be perfect at it, but I’m proud to say I’ve given up the drama to the best of my ability—and honestly, life feels a whole lot brighter on this side
A simple fun design that’s based on a Pantone-style colour swatch.
I drink coffee all day long and like to have it in a mug that isn’t just plain and boring. This design is the evolution of an idea I had years ago, though had forgotten all about until the colour-craft challenge brought it back to mind. Pantone colours all have a unique reference number and name. I thought I’d change it up a bit with a reference to that first cup that sets you up for the day ahead.
Palette : “Golden Grove Palette” — it captures that mix of earthy greens, warm yellow, and playful pops like purple.
Story: This shirt isn’t just something I made… it’s something I felt into existence
There are days when life feels smooth, like everything is lining up just right. And then there are the other days… the messy ones, the heavy ones, the ones where patience feels thin and peace feels far away. Somewhere in the middle of all that, this design found me.
I came across the idea in Ideal Studio, and something about it just stuck. It felt like it was already speaking my language—the kind of quiet encouragement I didn’t even realize I needed that day. So I took that inspiration and brought it to life with my own hands, turning it into something real, something I could wear and carry with me.
Each letter I cut became a small reminder… to slow down, to be gentle, to keep going. “Love,” “brave,” “patient,” “protective”—they’re not just words on a shirt. They’re pieces of who I’m learning to be, even on the hard days.
I made this shirt by me and for me—because sometimes you need a reminder you can actually wear. Something that sits close to your heart and quietly says, “You’ve made it through before… you’ll make it through again.”
It’s not about perfect days. It’s about showing up anyway. Soft but strong. Tired but still trying. Learning how to protect my peace while still leading with love.

•Here’s my color-craft entry for Week 2 number 1!* IdeaStudio link:See What I've Been Creating... Palette: [summer brights] Story: [I chose the colors of summer for a quick I paint Mothers’s Day gift selection for our booth. I picked a cute pic of a cat in the library and made sure it was colorful. Arizona heat over that time of year is pretty bad so all the colors need to be amped up in the beautiful sun.
I printed the design on Bristol board using the ipaint and the heat erasable pen. I am IN LOVE with this pen! You paint your design …. With any paints … silk, dyes, acrylic, gouache, etc…. When you are done you take a heat gun over it and all the lines disappear. For this project I used gouache. I like the way it floats on Bristol board.

Story : My inspiration was my love for alpacas, the sea, and palm trees. This is how this picture came about.
The alpaca stood relaxed in the warm sand, its fluffy coat glowing in the golden light of the afternoon sun. Behind it, tall palm trees swayed gently in the breeze, their leaves rustling like a tropical melody.
The sun shone brightly in the sky, bathing everything in a warm, summery glow. In the distance, the sea sparkled as if it had captured a thousand tiny stars.
With its head held high and curious eyes, the alpaca gazed across the beach as if expecting a new adventure at any moment. Everything felt light — a moment full of summer vibes, warmth, and freedom.
The alpaca smiled into the sunlight and thought: This is what real summer feels like

Every bite is a tiny moment of joy,
cold, creamy, and simply irresistible.
Inspiration Story: I made this piece as a little reminder to my friends that even on the hardest days, there’s still magic waiting for them when they open the next door.
