I feel,like your phone rings more than normal when you have a bad sleep night…. Barely got to sleep and it rings what could I not sleep till after 8am if I could answer ied have figured out how to sleep… the irony of the call being to make appt to get me back on sleep meds is not lost on me.

Oh you have no idea bc I had cried and cried not just bc of one things but many things lol ! I had to delay a t shirt order, could not submit my final made for mom crafts last week ! And that’s my relaxing time for me during stressful times now so yes I was lost for three days! And just happened when customer service asked me to submit video footage of what had started happening! That next morning I when to record it and bammm! It’s started moving I realize the sticky substance I unplugged it immediately. I turned it over. It’s more juice head right out. I detailed it very well used a little bit of rubbing alcohol on it to dry any liquid that was still on the bottom plate! And then today it had a little bit of squeakiness to it, and y’all are gonna probably think I’m crazy, but I took a paintbrush and some olive oil and lightly coated the bars and it sounds better than I did when it was brand new! Now I’m not saying that it should be done, but it worked for me!

I picked up the rack either on Amazon or at Target. We have tons of them in the basement so just repurposed this one.

I just wanted to check in with the community today and say how grateful I am for all of the encouragement, inspiration, and support you all continue to share. One of my favorite things about being part of this community is seeing how creativity has a way of connecting people through stories, memories, and handmade projects that truly mean something.

Today I shared my #MadeforMom challenge project, and honestly, this one came from a very personal place in my heart. I wanted to create something that reflected the lasting love and influence of a mother, and the idea immediately brought me to flowers and the quote, “Mothers plant the seeds of love that bloom forever.” The more I worked on the piece, the more I found myself thinking about all of the little things mothers do throughout our lives that shape who we become.

This project combined several things I love creating with — laser cut wood, sublimation, and 3D printed daisies — but beyond the techniques and materials, it became a reminder that handmade gifts carry pieces of our hearts with them. Every flower, every detail, and every word on the project was designed to celebrate the quiet strength, care, and unconditional love that mothers give so freely.

I think that is what makes crafting so special. We are not just making products or decorations. We are creating memories, telling stories, and giving people something they can feel emotionally connected to.

Working on a piece I’ve literally had hanging around for years. I painted it black this week & put where I could see it. I saw this beautiful graphic was going to make stencil but I kept looking at that project. How can I make them work together? I decided to use white vinyl and set my iCrafter to cut. I love to weed but I have to say I had to stop several times because my hand hurt. I use tweezers mainly vs the pic tool. So here it is, again waiting for my brain to tell me where to go from here.

So today I’m doing my best to hold strong for my husband! I’m happy to spend tomorrow together with my family on Mother’s Day but watching my husband hurt bc it’s only been 3 weeks since his momma passed it’s hard! Keep us in your prayers !
