Day 9: Happy Hump Day!
Day 22
Busy day! Can’t do crafting.
I have lots of pendings. Almost weekend again.
Check-in Day 22 Today, I’m working on making ad graphics for the earrings that I added to my shop. Thanks to Canva’s new ad tools, it’s easier than ever! With being a one-employee business, it can be difficult to manage all the things. So, the less time I have to use making graphics, the more time I can use making stuff! Have a great rest of the week, my friends.
Day 22 - Working on a design. It’s not that easy when you do it from scratch. Have a wonderful day, Beautiful People!
Designs from scratch can sometimes take me days to make but feel so rewarding after ![]()
Day 14: When do you need to replace the auto press mat? I sublimate slate photo frames and its a bit harsh on the mat and is getting thinner.
Day 22 it’s dreaded angiogram day nope not looking forward to it and I don’t know about other people but getting told when you have to stop eating and what you can drink makes me feel stubborn and try to have what I can’t before time is up like dairy so I had Mac and cheese for dinner last night lol
Day 12!!
Today I went to hobby lobby to get a couple of things I needed to finish some orders, that place is dangerous haha
I came out with some things that I didn’t need!! Oh well ![]()

Day #22: I’m in!
Work in Progress Wednesday: From Bare Boards to Holiday Magic!
Happy Wednesday, crafty friends!
For today’s Work in Progress Wednesday, I wanted to share a project that pushed my creative (and construction!) skills — building a display for my upcoming Winter Market.
Step 1: I started with a simple wooden frame — just bare boards and a vision. I designed it to resemble a Christmas tree shape, with tiered shelves to hold my ornament shadow boxes.
Step 2: After assembling, I gave it a fresh coat of deep evergreen paint to bring that holiday spirit to life. Watching the plain wood turn festive with just a few brushstrokes was so satisfying!
Step 3: The final reveal — my colorful ornament shadow boxes in place, topped with a beautiful layered laser cut wooden angel! The finished piece turned into a joyful, eye-catching centerpiece that will make my booth pop this season where it sits on the table.
It’s always amazing to see how a little imagination (and a few screws and paint strokes) can turn a pile of wood into a display full of personality and purpose.
Day 22: I sure hope I get on this reviewer for the hat press because look what I just started doing lol
Day 21, One more day, one less day…!!!
In Love! ![]()
Sometimes the program you are using overwrites the colour profile, theres also a printer setting which if ticked overwrites the programs profile lol. Hope you get it sorted
I’m sure printers have a mind of their own!
Thanks so much @SarahiRubio!! I am very happy with how it turned out and know it will bring some height to the table for showcasing and standing out.
I use silicon mats for my slates. They are harder and I get a more even press. I have a 15" thicker one and a 12" thinner one and use both to create extra pressure. I have the original HTVRONT Auto Press and never have a problem when using this method.
Day 22: Heading to my little corner to try and finish a few things tonight. Very different projects all going at the same time - ornaments, a wall hanging, some photo magnets and a custom T-shirt. However, I am slightly glued to GAC and a Christmas movie…
Update: I finished the ornaments and the wall hanging. ![]()
Well that was a long 8 hour day and now I am uncomfortable and in pain but glad to be home!
