This design was born from my love of playful holiday cheer and bold, boutique storytelling. I wanted something that felt festive, sassy, and totally giftable — perfect for a girls’ night, a family toast, or a cheeky Secret Santa. “Let’s Get Elfed Up” made me laugh out loud, when I saw it in designstudio and I knew it had to be part of Kay’s Designz holiday lineup. The elf-inspired wine glass with its jagged hat and belt buckle brings the party, while the matching coaster ties it all together with flair. It’s a celebration of joy, humor, and handmade magic.
What I Used:
Glassware & Coaster Base:
- Wine glass from the Dollar Store (affordable and perfect for vinyl!)
- Square sublimation coaster from Amazon
Design & Materials:
- HTVRont adhesive vinyl in black, red, and green
- HTVRont transfer paper for vinyl application
- HTVRont sublimation paper for the coaster
- Brother sublimation printer
- HTVRont Auto Heat Press (pressed at 330°F, 130lbs pressure, for 40 seconds)
Design Origin:
- Inspired by a festive template from Idea Studio, customized with “Kay’s Designz” branding and 2025 holiday flair
Lessons Learned:
- Some vinyl didn’t stick perfectly — next time I’ll warm the glass and burnish more
- Got a little ghosting on the coaster — taping tighter and pre-pressing should help
- But overall? It’s a vibe. It’s bold. It’s boutique. And it’s ready to get elfed up!
