This little wall accent was inspired by the warmth of the Christmas season. Those moments when simple decorations instantly make a home feel magical.
I created a charming Santa design and placed it right on our light switch, making it look as if Santa himself is peeking from the wall with his big gift bag, surrounded by festive garlands, golden bells, and tiny glowing lights.
To bring the design together, I used a PVC sheet as a sturdy backing to hold all the vinyl pieces securely on the wall. I used the gift materials I received from the community event, which made the whole project feel extra special.
One challenge I faced was Santaâs skin tone. I didnât have a skintone vinyl available, so I chose a soft gray instead and adjusted the layers to keep his expression warm and cheerful. In the end, that small limitation pushed me to be more creative, and Iâm happy with how it turned out.
This simple Christmas craft became a heartfelt reminder that creativity grows beautifully when you work with what you have, and when a communityâs generosity becomes part of your art.
