I loved super mario and now my son loves it too it’s the best for kids to be honest in the world of brutal games that brings nothing but aggressive behaviour to kids I find super mario is the best choice.
I’ve made my son’s 9th birthday in super mario theme as I posted my cakes before I also crafted a Tshirt real quick for him to wear.

 Oh, I love super mario too! It’s one of the games I have on my Switch. It’s such a fun way to pass the time.

The Sims 4 is hands‑down my favorite game. There’s something so relaxing about stepping away from my real‑life chores just so I can make my Sims do theirs. Honestly, it’s way more fun to live through them — I can whip up a magic potion, turn into a vampire, or start a whole new career path I’d never have in real life.

I haven’t made any crafts based on a game or character yet, but now that you’ve mentioned it… that actually sounds like a really fun idea. Maybe one day I’ll bring a little Sim‑inspired chaos into my craft room.

Have you tried a new game like the sims called inZOI. It’s a fresh take on the life sim and really fun.

I’ve been gaming for as long as I can remember — literally since I was about three! By the time I hit twelve, I was already building my own PC so I could get the most out of the games I loved. Out of everything I’ve played over the years, Horizon Zero Dawn is still my all‑time favorite. The world, the machines, Aloy’s journey… it just stuck with me in a way no other game has. Some close runners up are Warframe, Helldivers 2, God of war, Diablo 4. I’m currently playing Crimson desert, I wouldn’t recommend it to everyone though, but I’m having heaps of fun with it.

I haven’t made a Horizon‑themed craft yet, but with all the phone case and sticker making I do, I feel like it’s only a matter of time before Aloy ends up on something in my craft room. I do make a lot of gamer stuff, like mouse pads and phone cases and mugs and tshirts. Honestly, I just love games, I could talk about them all day!

Gaming shirt I drew and printed using DTF. RNGesus is a saying used by gamers when they have really good rolls.

Just 3D printed this bust of Lilith from Diablo 4. Came out really good and ready for painting.

Nope, I haven’t heard of that one! I’ve been a die‑hard Sims fan since the very first game, so with all the time (and money!) I’ve put into The Sims 4, I’m pretty loyal to it. I usually prefer the original over anything similar — I’d probably just compare it to The Sims the whole time anyway. I may check it out one day, but chances are, I’ll probably just stick to my Sims.

I love playing board games and trying out new ones; it’s something our group usually does every so often, or we go to a store where, if you’re a member, they let you play the latest releases at their game table.

I don’t play video games—only when I was little, at a birthday party, on the Game Boy Color playing Pokémon.
My brother had a PlayStation, and the only games I liked were MotoGP and WRC. :racing_car:

My favorite board game is Rummikub; we can spend hours playing without noticing the time and end up playing until dawn. Do you know it or have you played it? My uncle who lived in Germany introduced me to it when I was little, and back then it wasn’t available in Spain.
I prefer games without screens since we already spend so much time looking at screens in our daily lives, and it ends up giving me a headache. :see_no_evil:

I know I’m taking back a long way. When I was going up I enjoyed playing Jacks. I have seen nor heard of that game in years. Now, I’m going to look online and see if I can order a set.

My mom was really good at them and taught me how to play as a very young girl.

This has caused a fond memory.

Grew up playing super mario, pokemon, legend of zelda games, tetris, zuma, on the phone I like playing fishdom and mario run plus pokemon go.

The bigger gremlin used to ask me to make these cubee crafts for him when he was younger. Now he simply asks me to print it out but he’s the one cutting, folding and sticking them together and sometimes makes his own modifications with the design :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

So, this is so hard honestly! I have several!
So my number one game would have to be hands down spades :spades: I’m very competitive of this. I love rummy, and solitaire also! (These are my card games)
Now when it come to going up and now my go to would be Mortal Combat, Yoshi’s Island, and Super Mario1-3 ! (Sega Genesis and Super Nintendo Era)
Now new day I am sucked into FORTNITE I CAN PLAY IT FOR HOURS! Ever since I play PC world of Warcraft and found the world on PvP I’ve enjoyed those types of games! So New age gaming hands down won PVP with Fortnite!

I turn vintage this year so my first video game was Pong - yes, that old. I upgraded to Pac Man and Space Invaders as my favorites until I found Paperboy. Now, that was fun! Taking out the break dancers and thieves, breaking windows, scaring cats away with rolled up papers. The best thing was back then, you’d knock someone off their bike and you didn’t hear the f word or get flipped off it start a road rage incident. The response was more like Oof or Pow or Heeeyyy. Still have a Sega Genesis and that game but it only gets played when my son comes home on military leave. I may have to bust it out this weekend, though, for memory’s sake.

I’m mostly into soduko and that type of game, but my daughter and I can also sit and play Hogwarts legacy. When the kids were younger they played a lot of Skylanders and Mario.

This is a fun one.

I’ve always had a soft spot for games, especially ones that bring a mix of nostalgia and storytelling. One of my all-time favorite characters is Link. There’s just something about the adventure, puzzles, and that classic hero journey that never gets old. I’m also a big fan of the Final Fantasy series. The depth of the stories and the creativity in those worlds have always stuck with me.

On the board game side, I have to agree with you on Candyland—but specifically the old school version. There’s something about those classic designs and simple gameplay that just hits differently compared to newer versions.

As far as crafting goes, I’ve definitely dabbled in game-inspired creations. I’ve made a variety of themed items like shirts, decorations, and a few custom pieces that pull inspiration from games I enjoy. A lot of it has been for family and kids, but let’s be honest, sometimes those projects are just as much for me as they are for them.

There’s something really fun about taking a character or theme you love and turning it into something physical you can use or display.

My absolute fave is Portal 2, such a clever and funny game. I love that type of puzzle game. The tragically little-known The Witness is also excellent.

I remember sitting hour after hour, day after day playing Chuckie Egg (Aaaarrrrgggghhhhh!) on the Commodore 64 with one of my sisters when we were younger. Brain killer that one. Which reminds me, I used to play Lemmings on the Amiga so much that I actually dreamed about them many nights. I was off work for weeks following a motorbike accident, so I played that a bit too much.

BTW, there is a pretty spectacular looking Super Mario Galaxy movie coming to cinemas on 1st April.
