How do you relax?

How do you relax! What is your me time?
Crafting is my therapy I find putting a design together is relaxing even if it’s something simple when getting ready for the day. With not crafting I am usually lost in a book probably some paranormal romance book. I read a lot in the kindle app I also have it so it can read the book so I can listen while doing something else. It’s ok to take some time for you. Self care is not selfish!
The holidays can get a bit chaotic it’s good do remember to do something for you.

Nice my husband is the video game person I used to like some but with my vision I can’t see the full screen to track movements all the time it’s amusing but frustrating… it took a video game for my husband to see my vision issues for himself though playing on a Wii :joy:

Vision is so important, I’m hoping what vision you have stays with you. Video games are so much fun, my whole household are gamers. LOL I guess the kids didn’t really have a choice though

The larger stroke I had was in the part of my brain that controls vision so I don’t have peripheral vision on the left side of both eyes the left eye I don’t have a little less then half the vision the right eye on the left side about 20% does not have vision it’s part of what truly makes crafting therapy and gives other challenges but I love it all the same! I have lots of tricks I use for myself that is helpful for linking thing up and such.

I go to bed. :joy: Even then, I can’t relax. I woke up at 3:30, and I’ve just been laying here tossing and turning. I decided to grab my phone after about 45 minutes of not being able to go back to sleep. It’s now 4:55 am, and I’m about to get up. My alarm goes off in 5 minutes. I can smell the coffee brewing. I’m sure I’ll be ready for bed at 7 pm. :joy:

I’d been doing pretty good. I drink some chamomile tea 2 hours before bed, and turn off the devices, but the past week, I haven’t turned off the devices, and my brain hasn’t wanted to shut off. So, I lay in bed thinking about everything under the sun.

I guess, the way I relax is chamomile tea and turning off the screens. I also like to read a book before bed, but I’ve been busy doing other things instead. I’m sure I’ll get back to my routine. Maybe, I needed very little sleep to help me get back into my routine. I know I’ll be ready for bed early, tonight. At least, I hope.
