I need help using the sublimation HTV. I cut with the shiny side done and press it on the cotton material then add the sublimation design on top. There is a sticky substance on the material and the sublimation design does not look right. Wondering is it the HTV Sublimation paper or user error. Used my practice shirts. Thanks
Talitha
It looks like you pulled the sublimation htv up almost like it’s not actually on the shirt and just glue residue is left behind….
The cut is with the shiny side down. I’ve been looking for a tutorial using this product and have not a useful one. Thanks
So just like regular htv you but it on the carry sheet then iron it on 300F 10- 15 second let cool then remove carry sheet. Like all htv. Then you put the sublimation design over the htv and press how you would sublimation your preferred temp and time. I use the preset on the auto press and sometimes stop it early doing just 30 seconds vs the 40. I can find something to print and make using sublimation htv I have the clear matte in my collection and that’s the one you are using.
Use it just like regular htv but you don’t need to press it too long 5 to 10 seconds because when you press the sublimation on it you need 60 seconds.
I use both clear and white and they are fabulous.
The clear which you have is for white fabrics
And the white is for dark or all the colours.
Also I agree with Judi it seems you pulled it up it didn’t stick from the first place.
