Very cool calendar.
Here’s my home-decor Week [3] entry number 2
Theme: [Making it mine deco]
IdeaStudio link: [Project | icrafter deco]
Story: [[I have been so excited about my new machine coming but I didn’t plan a project. When it got here I knew I had to decorate it to make it mine. I’ve shared what butterflies mean to me so it was a no brainer to add them to the beautiful blue machine. I might even name it …. Hmmm.]
That turned out so cute. Love your story, sounds like something that would happen to me too! LOL
Here’s my home-decor week 3 entry number 2.
Theme: Book Cushions
IdeaStudio Link: Project | Alice & The White Rabbit
Story: This fabric has been sitting on my shelf for quite some time. Then I came across the white rabbit image in the IdeaStudio library. It was a perfect match! The text was also put together from one of the fonts available in the software. I think it was the Alegreya-Black Italic that I used for this.
The rabbits were made using the prints and cut method and a dark t-shirt transfer sheet. The text was made from smooth HTV.
Here’s my week 3 home-decor entry 2:
Theme Letting go of bitterness and embracing brightness — literally and figuratively.
IdeaStudio Link See What I've Been Creating...
Story This tray was inspired by the idea of shifting my mindset — choosing to be lighter, brighter, and a little more sparkly in how I move through the day. The phrase “Less Bitter, More Glitter” felt like the perfect reminder to put in a place I’d see often. It’s fun, but it’s also honest: bitterness is heavy, and glitter — in all its forms — is joy, creativity, and color.
I loved the thought of turning a simple Dollar Tree tray into something that reflects that energy. The baby‑pink paint, the glossy varnish, the mix of matte and chrome vinyl, and the final glassy layer of epoxy all came together to create a piece that feels cheerful and uplifting. It’s a small project with a big message:
choose the sparkle, not the sting.

Theme Celebrating the Beauty in Small Things: finding joy in the little details.
IdeaStudio Link See What I've Been Creating...
Story This tray was inspired by the idea that even the smallest things can bring a spark of happiness. Whether it’s jewelry, keepsakes, craft supplies, or décor accents, I loved the thought of giving those items a home that feels just as cheerful as they are.
The phrase “Pretty Little Things” felt perfect — lighthearted, feminine, and fun. I wanted the colors to reflect that same energy, so I went with a bright teal base and bold pink lettering, sealed under a glossy layer of epoxy for that polished, boutique-style finish.
It’s a reminder to appreciate the little things — the tiny joys, the pops of color, the details that make life feel a bit more beautiful.

Theme: [Desert Drink]
IdeaStudio link: [Project | Desert Drink ]
Story: [[After getting my new cutter I decided to make a Valentines gift for my hubby. he loves the country and watching eagles fly so decorating his cup with the mountain, desert, eagle theme worked. He will have his beautiful scene to look at while he is inside in a computer environment with no windows to look out.

Theme: Rotating Craft Tools Caddy
Not strictly traditional Home Decor, but it’s on display and in the part of the home I (try to) spend most of my time. It’s now sitting on my craft desk in front of the iPaint, alongside my Floral Guitar picture.
I bought this make-up brush holder from B&M for just £3, as it looked like a fab holder for my craft tools. As the caddy can be rotated, I wanted to have the design go all the way round.
I added the scissors, knife, and writing hand from the assets library. None of the included pens and crayons were quite what I wanted, so I created those myself by combining and subtracting triangles and rectangles. It’s best to make them huge, even larger than the IdeaStudio canvas, then scale down when finished, so that any slight misalignment isn’t noticeable. The arch shape was resized and warped, then subtracted from the hand, to look like fingernails.
The tip of the pen touching the text is a constant reminder to “Dot the i and cross the t!” ![]()

Theme: Positive Inspiration

Story: It seems all we hear are negative things lately, it’s become the “norm”. I wanted to remind myself and others that there is good out there and that each of us creates our own magic.

Theme: Valentine’s Day fun
IdeaStudio link: See What I've Been Creating...
Story: I adore displaying my gnomes for the different holidays. I found some cute Valentine’s Day garland the other day and thought of making a little decor to go with the gnome display. I feel like it brings it all together.

That is gorgeous!! I need to learn how to use resin!!
Thank you!
Yeah, you should definitely try it! It’s highly addictive! There are some rules that must be followed in order to get it to cure properly, and can be dangerous if done wrong, but when you learn the ins and outs, what to do and what not to do, you’ll want to mix resin all the time.
Your Valentine’s Day tree is fantastic, too! I love all the faux leather gnome ornaments! Great job! I love working with faux leather, too! It’s so much fun to add vinyl to it! ![]()
Maybe you could give me some lessons?
Oh, this is great, too! Did you make the flowers? I ordered a paper quilling kit last week. I got it and the quilling coach was broken, so I’m waiting for the replacement to get here, tomorrow. I did some paper flowers in the video I’m working on, right now, but I did them with tweezers. It wasn’t very fun.
So, I decided to order the kit, because I do like the final results.
Yes, of course! It’s easy once you know all the rules. ![]()
Yes, I made the flowers. They are different sizes and different styles. I have a quilling tool, makes them so much easier!!
I’d really appreciate the guidance!
You know I’m always happy to help!
Your flowers look amazing! And, yeah, I’ve used the tools that came with the kit, and it made it so much easier and way more fun! I have to return the broken kit before February 23, so I was like, yep, I’m gonna at least use the ones I have until the new one gets here. ![]()

If you have a list. Would you send me a list of what’s all needed for resin/expoxy?
Yep, that’s definitely what those tools are called! ![]()
Great looking caddy! ![]()
