Theme. Canvas Painting
IdeaStudio link: [See What Iāve Been Creatingā¦] Project | How I Made My Valentineās Day Canva Tribute (Featuring Me & My Better Half)
Story:
This piece was created straight from the heart. I started with a Canva board from Five Belowāsimple, sturdy, and perfect for sublimation. The illustration in the center features me and my better half, captured in a fun, loving style that feels just like us. I generated the artwork using ChatGPT, making sure it reflected our vibe, our connection, and our āweāre in this togetherā energy.
For the names, hearts, and quote, I pulled elements from IdeaStudio, choosing designs that matched our grown, sweet, and forever kind of love. Every detail was intentionalāfrom the shapes to the wordingābecause this wasnāt just dĆ©cor; it was a tribute to us.
Once the layout felt right, I laminated the board using a standard lamination sheet to prep the surface and give it that smooth, glossy finish. Then I sublimated it at 385°F for 60 seconds with medium pressure, letting the colors melt into the board and lock in beautifully.
This Valentineās Canva is more than a craft project. Itās a keepsake. A celebration. A snapshot of love thatās real, personal, and ours. We paint these on Valentines day.

Created Today 1/19/2025 lol
I used my my favorite coffee cup in this submission
I use LOKLiK brand, purple and black permanent vinyl.
Used an idea from creative Fabrica for the style but created my own verbiage.
This cup says, āI donāt have enough coffee for today,ā and at first glance, it feels lighthearted and funny. But if weāre honest, itās also very real. Some days, coffee is the first thing we reach for because life already feels heavy before our feet hit the floor.
This cup represents those mornings when weāre tiredānot just physically, but emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. Itās for the ones who still show up, even when they feel drained. The ones who keep going, even when they donāt feel like they have enough strength, patience, or energy for the day ahead.
Itās a reminder that itās okay to admit weāre human. Itās okay to laugh at our exhaustion. And itās okay to take a momentāsip by sipāto reset, breathe, and remind ourselves that we donāt have to do today perfectly⦠we just have to do it.
This cup is for the doers, the survivors, the caregivers, the parents, the workers, and the warriors who keep moving forwardāone cup at a time.ā
I created this Yesterday 1/18/2026
My inspiration was my daughter in laws continuous work Day and day out to make all of her customers happy even when sheās not having a good day!
I used an upload from creative fabric on the back!
I use Disney font for travel by Sandi
I used a monogramming SVG for the front
And I use the LOKLiK Font Or the middle of the monogramming that says Cobb
I use the HTV from Loklik Colors black - And turquoise
Iron on with a good old-fashioned iron
Making sure to use my Teflon sheet while going over the carrier paper
I allowed to cool for five minutes
Once I Removed carrier paper and then laid the Teflon sheet back down And ironed over it one last time to seal it in!

Hi, @shirleycobb. This is a beautiful tumbler! It definitely counts as home decor, however, the shirtās not going to count as home decor, and since youāve used a Creative Fabrica design and non-Loklik fonts, that disqualifies it, as well.
The rules for entries are as follows:
All submissions must be created using Loklik IdeaStudio assets. You can use designs from the library, Loklik fonts, and shapes. You can use your own original fonts and designs, if youāre the one whoās created them, in the IdeaStudio/Loklik app.
To enter submissions, you need to:
- Save your design to the IdeaStudio. Create a design and click save as, name the file, then submit.
- Once youāve created a project using the design, go into your saved projects and click the 3 dots.
- There you will see Publish. Click that, add photos of your completed project. Add the description of your project, select the machine used. Click Share Publicly, and make sure Share to Community is toggled.
- Once youāve shared it, come over to the community and find your post under the Inspiration topic. Click edit (pencil icon) and add the tag for the event, i.e. home-decor, in the Tags section of the post. Save the edit.
- Go back to the IdeaStudio and click the Projects tab:
- Find and click on your project.
- Click the copy link button.
- Come over to the event post (in this case, this post ā home decor)
- Post your entry according to the format listed in the original post. It usually goes like this:
Where you are to enter the IdeaStudio link is where you will add the link you copied.
Iām happy youāre eager to join our events and look forward to seeing your makes in the future. I wanted to make sure you had all the information so that your entries will be counted. There is also a limit of 3 entries per week. ![]()
Thank you so much for your detailed guide, Samantha. ![]()
