Hello Crafters!
With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, a few friends from the community were invited to share their Valentine projects and walk through their making process and tips, all shared step by step ahead of the holiday.
These tutorials are meant to be practical and easy to follow, whether you are making something for a partner, a friend, or just for yourself. All the designs can be used directly in IdeaStudio, making it easy to get started. If any of them spark an idea and you end up creating something of your own, sharing it in the community is always welcome.
The main tools featured here are currently part of the Valentine’s Day sale.
Valentine’s Hugs, Heart, & Kisses Glitter Puff HTV T Shirt
by @rinsky
Crafting partner: Auto Heat Press 2
A Valentine T shirt project that instantly feels festive. The combination of glitter and puff HTV adds both texture and dimension, giving the design a strong presence without feeling overdone. It is a great example of how material choices can completely change the look and feel of a simple design.
Perfect as a Valentine gift, or as a fun piece to wear during the season. The same heat press is also used in @BellethehowtoGuru’s Valentine’s Day Monogram Heart T Shirt tutorial, which offers another helpful reference for Valentine apparel projects.
Valentine’s Day Love Books Phone Case
by @Judi_B
Crafting partner: H17 Phone Case Heat Press
This project gently brings together Valentine’s Day and a love for books. As Judi mentioned, love can take many forms, and this phone case is clearly made for book lovers. It is subtle, personal, and easy to live with, the kind of design that feels special without being loud.
The book theme also appeared in last year’s Valentine projects. @MaterialGirl shared a detailed Valentine Book Cushion tutorial, which remains a great source of inspiration if you enjoy book themed designs.
Hello February Hello Gorgeous Cake Topper
by @skyicreations
Crafting partner: Cutting Machine 2
A paper craft project that instantly lifts the mood. It works beautifully for Valentine’s Day, birthdays, or small gatherings in early February. With a clean structure and neat cuts, this project is especially friendly for anyone who enjoys paper decorations.
If this style speaks to you, the Valentine’s Mailbox with Accordion Envelope tutorial shared in the community last year is still well worth revisiting.
Valentine’s Treat Box
by @Mark
Crafting partners: Cutting Machine 2 with scoring tool and foil tool
This is a practical and charming treat box project, ideal for candies or small handmade gifts. The tutorial highlights the use of the scoring tool and foil tool, offering a guidance for adding structure and decorative details to paper box designs.
Mark also shared a soft decor idea earlier this season. The Valentine’s Day Pillow project is another lovely reference if you are interested in Valentine themed home projects.
