Just adding on to @Samantha_Bryant comment.
Although the matsā area is 12ā square, there are 10mm (~3/8ā) borders top and bottom, and 5mm (~3/16ā) borders left and right.
If Iām working in inches, Iāll usually just work to 11ā square, so my project will always fit without a problem.
Thank youā¦.
andā¦.
Woohoo! Got it working completely fine now. I had to get it working, as it was that or nothing! Took most of today, again, but the black blockage has finally cleared. Iām so very happy now.
Iām fairly sure that all you guys and gals cheering me on helped a lot though.
All thatās left to do now is to change my mind 17 times deciding what to make for the first project with my new old sublimation printer! Iām fairly sure Iāll end up back at making another Rush tee-shirt.
Excuse me while I procrastinate for a while!
Wow, very nice. ![]()
HTVRont is such an amazing company. I won an iPaint on FB just a few weeks ago.
Day 36- Today Iām am feeling happy and excited. I know it said one emotion but today they are intertwined. @IslaNoor.a how are you feeling today?
It was that or nothing, Iām afraid. The bank manager (aka. my wife) said no to a new one! ![]()
All good now though, finally!
Congratulations!
Congratulations! I canāt tell which Epson this is. Is it a true sublimation printer?
Yay! Iām happy you got it unclogged and ready to print! Canāt wait to see your first sublimation project with it! ![]()

Today my mood is still āfrustratedā but for a different reason. I made changes to my 401k contributions and they screwed it up so my check was super short today, not what I was expecting today, but Iāll deal with it and get to crafting, that will make it all better!
Day 36: All in all, itās a good mood kinda day! Work was good, picked up some distressed ink on the way home and ordered some magnetic bookmarks to engrave so Iāll have a few things to try out over the weekend.
Day #36:
Todayās mood is painful but still proud.
The day started with good intentions, but about two miles into my run my calf made it very clear that it was not on board with the plan. Instead of pushing through and risking real injury, I listened to my body, slowed to a walk, and called it for what it was. Now it is a mix of stretching, icing, and giving that muscle the attention it needs to recover. Not the workout win I wanted, but definitely the smart choice.
The bright spot of the day came at home. I officially finished my 3D printed, brick inspired Valentine wreath, and I absolutely love how it turned out. The colorful hearts, playful structure, and clean design make it feel cheerful and fun, and seeing it on the door was a reminder that progress does not always look the same every day.
Even on a painful day, something meaningful was completed. Healing, creating, and knowing when to pause all count as wins.
Wow, Congratulations. What a great prize. Canāt wait to see what you make ![]()
YAY! Canāt wait to see your first project

Day 37? I think - Mood - Feeling accomplished
Itās been so great getting back into the swing of creating content again after the holidays. With the huge update to IdeaStudio I had to update some guides pretty quick over this week, but next week will be going back to our normal viewing program, getting some unboxing videos out and creative tutorials. Been a big week but itās been a good week.
I can share the joy when you get the printer going! well done patience is a vertue

That wreath looks so amazing! Great job! ![]()
Definitely gotta be careful with running. Last year ā well, 2024 ā I was getting up and running everyday, until I blew out my ankles. My feet just arenāt built for running anymore.
So, now, I jump on my bike⦠in my living room. Much easier on my old ankles.
Hope you heal quickly. Here are some ultra healing vibes! ![]()

Thanks so much for sending healthy vibes my way @Samantha_Bryant. I am sure I just need to work it out and I will be back at it before I know it. I may switch over to the rower for a little bit to give myself a break on the feet pounding the ground.
I am really happy with how the wreath turned out and I love that I can take the pieces off and switch them out with the holidays and seasons just like real bricks.
Youāre so welcome. Yeah, a good break will definitely help. I switch my workouts up everyday, now, so Iām not putting so much on a single joint. I thought I could get back to running after a few weeks of rest, then a couple months, but my ankles said, āNope, weāre not doing this again, lady! Ever!ā ![]()
The interchangeable wreath is awesome! Canāt wait to see what you do with it for⦠St. Patrickās Day?
I know Iād be looking for any excuse to make a new design.
Moodā¦exhausted after loading the groceries in my car then driving to my house and putting them away. Sometimes I wish I had a robot
