Day #41:
Todayâs mood check in is watchful. With several inches of ice expected and the possibility of snow on top of that, we are officially in batten down the hatches mode. There was some serious discussion about packing up the motorhome and heading south for a week, but timing may not be on our side since South Georgia is still digging out from weather we somehow managed to miss. For now, it is a waiting game watching the forecasts, making sure we are prepared, and keeping our fingers crossed that Mother Nature shows a little mercy.

Oh, no! Not you, too! @Nancy_Sierchio shared one photo of the snow, and it was nice to look at â from afar â but, dang, I didnât think it would actually snow everywhere! I still doubt weâll get any, but theyâre saying we will. I got a weather notification a couple hours ago that said, âLight rain tomorrow, it will pour all day.â Umm, what? You said light rain, and it will pour all day, all in the same sentence. Which is it? So, at this point, Iâm not too convinced itâs going to snow this weekend.

Had an easy shift at work but still feeling sneezy. Had to have my furnace checked and need my filter replaced. Hoping that solves my sneezing and sinus problem. The ding dang wind definitely isnât helping. Hope youâre all having a great week.

Good morning, friends! Hope everyone has an amazing day! Today my mood is âperplexedâ. Watching the weather for this weekend and it has changed multiple times, as it does, but itâs really hard to plan anything with the unknown. Itâs all good though, we are as prepped as we can be. Iâm working on getting some projects cut so I can assemble in the event we lose power. We do have a gas fireplace and a gas stove for heat, if necessary. We do also have a small generator, just in case. Hugs to all!
