A coworker suggested setting a trap and calling parks and wildlife to come relocate it but my dog scares it away from the yard during the day. It may come back at night while the chickens are locked up. Thankfully with the snow they wonât come down from the coop so it hasnât seen them in 2 days but it will probably be back.
@Nancy_Sierchio I didnât realize doing that would work for squirrels! We get a lot of squirrels that get into the chicken food. They even chewed through a bucket where we had the food stored. My dog usually chases them off if sheâs outside. We do get coyotes, owls, hawks and deer around. I know Bobcats get spotted not super far from us. Iâll have to look into taking a speaker out there and doing something like that. Great idea!
Day something: gloomy. Snowing and cold - again. I am not a fan of winter. Itâs mostly cloudy and dark. The sun does wonders for my attitude so Iâm ready for spring!
Feeling a bit down really starting to believe I have listeria from my lovely local Walmart I was the only one who ate romaine lettuce on my hamburger and tomatoes on my hamburger and I have had bad had stomach problems since! No vomit but everything else! Iâm literally to only one like this so if it was virus I figured if it was that someone would have it by now!
Day 46 Mood Cold, but not freezing. Itâs times like this when Iâm glad I live in Southeast Texas. I see Dallas got quite a bit of snow, so, how did yâall fare, @Mark? Hope everyone is safe and warm, wherever you are! We only got below freezing for, maybe, an hour, at around 7 this morning. Tonight may be a different story, though. Going to get back to editing, now. Got all my crafting done, yesterday, so I can focus on my video.
Hunker down is still the word of the day. Much warmer all the way up to 28 degrees Fahrenheit, or-13 Celsius. Frustration is the second choice as I can still not connect the Loklik studio to my iEngrave. Thank goodness for Lightburn.
Mood today is Cold as well. Though it doesnât snow in our region Iâm loving this cool whether that just cozy in a blanket. It feels like thereâs a centralized Air-conditioning in our city
We faired ok, got some snow, but mostly rain/sleet and super cold temps. We were 13 but felt like -3 around noon. We are not supposed to get above freezing until Tuesday. Schools and city offices around the area are closed tomorrow. Thanks for checking in!
Today my mood is still âcoldâ. Hoping we get above freezing tomorrow, but thankful so far that weâve not had any problems with water, heat or electricity. Hoping it stays that way. Stay warm and safe yâall!
At first, I followed the manufacturerâs recommended settings, but the puff vinyl came out really wrinklyâand the suggested pressure didnât make sense to me. To get a proper puff, you definitely need higher pressure. Honestly, they should update the instructions on their packaging because those settings just didnât work.
Sh 45 : mood lustrated : itâs still cold but not in the big snow store so thatâs a positive but a migraine has taken most of my day and it is not wanting to go away so will probably have another forced nap soon.
