Prepping tumblers for Christmas

Been busy this morning prepping stock for stalls. These are some of my best sellers. I start making them in more traditional Christmas colors this time of year as well. Will be teaching a class on how to make these exact tumblers in November. Do you guys change your designs for seasonal occasions?

Thank you, I love abstract designs as you don’t have to be so precise when layering the vinyl lol. Can be so tricky sometimes

I never thought about it that way  but yeah it does give the freedom to say that’s how the art is supposed to look even if mistakes happen

Do you use Permanent or only Adhesive vinil? Love it!

I use permanent adhesive vinyl for these as they aren’t for sublimation. Thank you, I’m glad you like them

Love seeing your best sellers lined up—those tumblers are gorgeous! I definitely shift gears for seasonal designs too. Halloween gets bold and playful, but once November hits, I start leaning into cozy textures and classic holiday palettes. Your upcoming class sounds amazing and exciting! :star_struck:

Do you coat the with anything or does the vinyl stay well on its own through washes?

I don’t coat them with anything. It’s always important to let them sit and cure for 24 hours after you finish them. That gives the adhesive time to stick and cure properly. Also, they are only hand wash in warm soapy water. No soaking, No dishwasher. I made one of these 6 years ago for myself, and I still have it, I use it all the time for my ice coffee’s.
Also, a quick note about safety. If you have a cup where your lips will touch the rim, please make sure your design won’t go anywhere near that as most adhesive vinyl’s are not food safe.
