Problems with Print Then Cut with the Crafter

I have the iCraft 2 and when I tell you I went through HELL trying to get this thing to finally work. I had to literally do some heavy tech stuff to clear out the laptop I was turning into my production computer and then get the app updated. It kicks me out when I do PTC and change the settings in my print properties box lol. Idk WHY that is, but it does.

So, I made another post about my issues which are similar to yours, but a little different too lol. We’ll see what people have to say as my schedule is much different from everyone elses. I don’t do this full-time, at least not yet anyways.

I had finally got mine to read the marks, after 2 years, and almost had the alignment right, but now it’s back to not reading the marks and when it does, after pressing start 56 times, the alignment is still way off. It was doing better, and I thought it was getting closer to the right alignment, but I went to bed, woke up and everything was back to the way it was. So, I gave up after 3 days straight. I decided to try again, the other day, but never could get it to read the marks. So, I quit lol. It’s definitely frustrating.

Hmmmm… Well, I may have to decide against the iCraft, then lol. Or I may still order it, and if it doesn’t want to work, I’ll just send it back.

I realize its the updates that mess up the functionality of these things. Idk if it’s worth it anymore.

Idk, I haven’t had a firmware update in a while. I’m on the latest version, though. The software was updated last week, and it seems to be working fine with the new features. I think I’ve done 2 or 3, maybe 4, updates to the firmware in 2 years. I’ve only had one issue with the updates, and that was the 2nd one, I think. It took away my ability to use system fonts and something else, I can’t remember, but I sent feedback and they fixed it with the next update. I’m still hopeful they’ll fix the PTC issue, eventually lol.
