Difficulty: Beginner
This cheerful spring gift pot features a cluster of bright, layered cardstock tulips arranged inside a hand‑crafted paper flower box. To make it extra meaningful, the pot is filled with small gifts — a few sweet surprises tucked behind the flowers. The combination of dimensional paper florals and thoughtful keepsakes creates a warm, uplifting gift perfect for Easter, spring celebrations, or simply brightening someone’s day. The finished piece blends color, texture, and gentle encouragement into a tiny pot overflowing with joy.
Materials Used:
- Colored cardstock (tulips, leaves, stems)
- Brown cardstock (flower pot box)
- Small gifts (cross necklace, treats, mini prayer card, etc.)
- School glue or double‑sided tape
- Optional: embellishments like tiny flowers or butterflies
I created this mini gift pot by assembling a simple cardstock flower box and filling it with layered paper tulips in bright spring colors. To turn it into a meaningful gift, I added a few small items inside the pot — including a cross necklace and earrings (that I made), a mini prayer card (using my Butterfly Wing Envelope SVG that can be found in the IdeaStudio library), and a couple of sweet surprises. The tulips stand tall above the gifts, giving the whole piece a fresh, joyful look. It’s a small project with a big impact, perfect for sharing encouragement, celebrating spring, or gifting a little moment of happiness.
