For this shirt, I wanted to mix sweet and edgy in one design. I started with a soft pink T‑shirt as the base and built the graphic using layered heat transfer vinyl. The centerpiece is a cartoon‑style teddy bear with stitched details, patches, and X‑shaped eyes—playful yet a little rebellious—that I found in the IdeaStudio library. Surrounding the bear are pastel splashes—cut from the HTVRONT Splatter HTV pack—that add color and energy, making the design pop against the pink fabric.
The text frames the bear with personality: “Cute, but” above and “Complicated” below, balancing humor with attitude. Once all the vinyl layers were pressed, the shirt came together as a bold, expressive piece that feels both whimsical and statement‑making.
Thank you! You can find the bear in the IS library. I ungrouped the bear and split the colorful backsplash, so I could grab the dots and place them individually, because I didn’t want to waste all that vinyl, as they were scattered about. I added the phrase myself using my system fonts.
Thank you so much for the kind words. I’m so happy you think I made the right decisions. I was crossing my fingers the colors would land the way I imagined.
