Glitter HTV on Cured Acrylic Pour 12x12 in Canvas
Difficulty: Intermediate
For this piece, I wanted to blend emotional storytelling with bold, sparkling texture. I started with an acrylic paint pour I created five years ago — fully cured, glossy, and full of movement. The marbled purples, blues, and whites made the perfect backdrop for a meaningful design.
I picked out the Doll Bear design from the Loklik IdeaStudio library, and used Loklik’s Barlow-Bold font for the text. I used HTVRONT Glitter HTV for the teddy bear outline to give it a bright, shimmering presence, and HTVRONT Classic White HTV for the vertical text. I pressed everything with my H10 heat press at 280°F for 15–20 seconds. The glitter adhered beautifully on the first press, but the white HTV needed several presses to fully bond to the glossy paint surface — a normal challenge when working on cured acrylic pours.
Once everything was fully adhered, the design came to life in a way the camera simply can’t capture. The glitter is far more vibrant, dimensional, and reflective in person, and the whole piece has a depth and glow that doesn’t translate on screen.
