Project | The Book of Kept Secrets

This book has been two years in the making. I designed the original six vintage pages a while back and tucked them away, waiting for the right project. Each page has a soft, antique feel with butterflies and scrapbook‑style details, and I turned those six designs into six separate signatures so the book can grow with you — write in it, add photos, tuck in notes, or expand it with more pages later.

The covers are made from hand‑cut chipboard wrapped in Crafter’s Square glitter vinyl paper. I created a dimensional heart lock and key from EVA foam and added holographic HTVRONT vinyl for the front text so it catches the light beautifully. For the inside covers, I used the IdeaStudio AI tool to generate an antique gouache background with an ornate frame, added my own phrases, laminated the sheets with self adhesive laminate, and glued them in place. I punched the holes with a leather punch, & finished the book with metal binder rings so it can be opened, rearranged, or added to anytime.
