This bright and uplifting wall art panel features a colorful hot‑air balloon with six coordinating inspirational quotes arranged on a hand‑painted sky background. The balloon and basket were designed in Inkscape, then cut from layered cardstock to create a dimensional, cheerful centerpiece. The entire piece is assembled on an 11×13‑inch poster board, making it lightweight and easy to hang.
I started by designing the hot‑air balloon and basket in Inkscape, then cut the pieces from different colors of cardstock to give the balloon a dimensional, uplifting look. The poster board background is painted with acrylic paint using a sponge dauber to create a soft, blended sky effect. White cardstock clouds add depth and movement, while the six quote panels — each cut from different colored cardstock — are finished with rose gold mirror adhesive vinyl lettering for a reflective, motivational touch. Everything is assembled with school glue and arranged on the poster board to form a bright, inspirational wall art panel. I added an adhesive tab on the back for hanging.
