Now I care for a ZZ plant—my “Easy Plant”—because it’s truly easy-peasy to maintain. Best of all, it thrives without much fuss, and I don’t have to worry about overwatering, especially during the winter months.
This Christmas, I’m celebrating with my ZZ plant by giving her a holiday makeover. I crafted a trellis with leaf designs that echo her own foliage, then wrapped it in fairy lights and hung tiny ornaments for sparkle. From IdeaStudio, I cut the phrase “TOO cold to care” along with snowflakes and snowleaves in black shimmer permanent adhesive—such a perfect quote for her hardy nature. To finish, I dressed her vase in a cozy red-and-black plaid wrap, completing her festive look.
