Decided to put on some htv on a pair of old shoes. I feel like it’s such a waste to throw them away since the soles are still quite intact. I really love my loklik mini press 3

I don’t want to add to more compost for mother earth by buying another set of shoes so we need to reduce, reuse, and recyclev but in my case it’s revamp what we have 
We need to be conscious crafters as well. That’s why we try to keep as much excess materials that we have leftover from our previous projects
We also need to teach the younger generation that it’s okay to use hand-me-downs, not just for saving money but also for the rescue of the environment for their future

I know, 3 earthquakes in different areas of the country. Very thankful we are far from those areas, though my younger brother experienced the one in Cebu but he was safe.

Kids grow out of their stuff quite fast. Good think the little brother doesn’t understand yet the meaning of hand me downs, he thinks he got new shoes after I revamped these

They look wonderful. There’s a special joy when you revamp old things and add a layer of personal special. Money can’t buy it, bought can’t give it. The vinyl is very cool!
