Over the past week, some of you may have experienced a few issues on the community site, like not receiving system notifications, projects not syncing properly from the software, cheers didn’t work, or cover images not showing up correctly in posts etc.
Good news: our engineers have identified the root cause and everything has now been fixed!
We’re really sorry for the inconvenience over the past few days. You should be able to use the site smoothly again now. If you do run into any other issues, please don’t hesitate to let us know through official feedback channels.
Also, while we have your attention,we’d love to ask a quick question to help us understand your browsing habits better:
When you visit the community website, do you usually browse on your phone’s browser or on a computer/Laptop ?
If you often use your phone browser to access the community instead of the LOKLiK app , we’re curious—what’s the main reason? (e.g., prefer browser convenience, unaware of the app, etc.)
Feel free to drop your thoughts below! Your feedback helps us make the community experience better for everyone.
I have always used the HTVRONT Community app on my phone. I thought the LOKLiK app was just for designing and linking to their equipment. I will say that since these changes were pushed, the app is cumbersome. The headers don’t fit across the top so I have to slide to the right to be able to click on my photo to see any responses to my posts. I also no longer see any of the community events on the home page. I have to go into Messenger and find the link for the event in a past post in order to get to it. It’s definitely not a quick sit down to check out what’s happening anymore. I have not had time to play around with it to see if these things are posted somewhere that isn’t obvious to me but this does not seem to be an upgrade, at least not on my end.
Although I did like some of the new changes to the website I think I also found it a bit more of a hassle now using it on the phone browser. I use the phone browser rather than the app because I just like the look and the setup more. I use the app more for designing my projects on idea studio. Also I use my phone more than my laptop so that’s another reason I just default for the phone browser
I typically use my laptop to access both. I occasionally use my phone (the app, not browser) when I’m not home but I prefer the laptop because I jump around a lot from page to page, app to app so it makes easier.

I only use my laptop.

I would use my phone browser because I don’t have the app installed on my phone.
I was a bit lost when the site was updated because I could not find the sidebar. I was expecting the “hamburger” icon be located before the logo. The areas I used the most were Topics and My Posts. I think it would be better to have the sidebar expanded/visible in desktop/laptop mode to avoid having to extra click.
I primarily use my PC to access the community and LOKLiK Idea Studio. I have liked the changes to the community site. Apart from the back end hiccups we all suffered. I think the site looks cleaner. Theres a nice task bar at the top and a hamburger menu to get around.
I have tried using the app on my phone but it wasn’t as intuitive as the website and took me a second to get my barings.
I usually visit the community pages from my ipad, but when I’m using IdeaStudio I usually use my laptop. There never seems to be enough time to look at everything that is happening on here now and so Olivia’s weekly round up is always very handy to spot if I’ve missed anything.
I installed the HTVRONT browser app on my phone, and I, mostly, use it to do a quick check-in in the mornings, while I’m not in my studio. I just don’t see the point in going into the Loklik app unless I’m going to design something. However, I do like to check the community posts while I’m there.
I switch back and forth from mobile to PC. It just depends on if I’m working on my computer or not. Once the update happened, and there were bugs, I had issues with the PC software, so I just used my phone, as it seemed to be functioning better than the PC. However, I prefer to use my PC for IdeaStudio, because I have my own system fonts available there, it’s easier to navigate, and the screen is bigger. Since the software is working properly now, I’ll probably be using my PC more, but I will still check-in to the community through my Microsoft Edge browser, while still having the IdeaStudio open, just so I can keep my design on screen.
I guess, it just all depends on what kind of mood I’m in and where I am.
I access the community website using both my phone and my computer; however, I strongly prefer the computer. The primary reason is that when I use my phone’s browser, I am repeatedly logged out, which makes the experience extremely frustrating.
In order to post within the community, on my phone I often rely on the LOKLiK app. Unfortunately, the same issue occurs there as well—I am logged out constantly, even though the app provides an option to remain signed in. This option does not function as expected; for example, if I press the back button or navigate away, my session ends and I am forced to log in again.
This repeated disruption significantly impacts usability and discourages me from engaging through my phone or the app. A more reliable “stay logged in” feature would greatly improve the overall experience and encourage continued participation.
I mainly use computer, but I access from my tablet or phone occassionaly. It is very true, though, that I’d use my tablet more if it had better issues fixing. I hope this help
