Hello, @moutyzer1.:smiley: Welcome to the community! We’re happy you’ve joined us. In order for us to give you the best help possible, we need to know what machine you’re speaking of. Can you please give us some more information?

Hi @moutyzer1, a lot of people are in the same boat as you are right now. With the new 3.0 update it changed a bit and added some new settings. So, let’s learn a bit about these new settings.

So, you can connect any machine you use on the home screen under device which is great. This allows you to connect multiple machines at the same time.

In the canvas screen you can easily swap between machines here, you need to make sure you have the right machine selected before you hit make.

To change your machine, you can click the swap button

Then choose your machine from the list

If anything feels unclear or this solution doesn’t resolve your issue, feel free to ask — I’m always happy to help.

Ok, I thought so, but with this software you can connect the iEngrave, iPaint, and other machines, just wanted to make sure we were on the same page.

I also recently got the iCraft and had trouble with mine staying connected for longer than a few seconds. However, over time, I think it finally just got acquainted with my Bluetooth, and now it stays connected for awhile. There are still times when it will disconnect after 30 minutes to an hour, but I think it’s just a bug in the new update. I believe they’ll be updating it again, soon, as the mobile app just had an update last night. So, that means there will be one for the PC app in the next week or so.

My suggestion is — if you’re connecting using the iCraft option and not the Crafter option — to just allow the machine some time to get used to the new connection. I know that sounds weird, but that seems to be what happened for mine. Try staying in the app playing around, getting to know the software, and just keep reconnecting if it disconnects. Double check to make sure you’re selecting the iCraft and not the Crafter, as shown in Belle’s screenshots. That could also be what’s going on. It’s weird that it’s saying you’re connected though. Does it allow you to go through with the operation once you connect again, or is it still showing you’re not connected, therefore you’re unable to complete a cut?

Edit: Oh, another question, did you update the firmware via the USB when you first got it? You can see which firmware version you’re on by clicking the little cog button under your machine in the home area. You should be on version 8. Mine was at v3.

Hi @moutyzer1, are you still having problems and receiving a need to connect message after you hit make?

Yeah, I asked that in my previous response. I figured I’d give him a chance to respond. It’s only been 3 hours since I asked. :joy:
