Was really hoping for a UVDTF printer but this launch feels huge — the D2 really looks like the kind of DTF setup that takes the fear factor out of getting started. The clog‑resistant system and the automated ink flow are what caught my eye first, because anyone who’s ever battled a temperamental printhead knows how quickly that can derail a whole production day. The built‑in smart alerts are such a thoughtful touch too, especially for small business owners who are juggling a million things at once.

The 13‑inch wide format with the XP600 printhead is honestly exciting — that combo opens the door for bigger, cleaner, more detailed prints without needing a giant industrial machine. And having RIP + image processing in one place? That’s going to save so much setup time for beginners and busy makers.

The first thing I’d want to try is a full‑colour, high‑detail design with lots of gradients just to see how the colour vibrancy holds up across a full sheet. It looks like the kind of printer that could handle both everyday orders and those “wow” pieces that customers love.

Curious to see what everyone else is planning to test first — multicolour designs, bulk runs, or something textured and detailed? Would love to try this machine out.

Wow it is absolutely far out of my reach, but we also live out of dreams and this shapes a beautiful one. It looks amazing.

The first thing I’d do it’ll be printing my Greek Gods Illustration colection into a beautiful fabric to make an elegant tapestry collection.

But the applications arr endless and no doubt it is a major asset for anyone’s business. I can’t wait to see what the happy owners make.

What really caught my eye with the D2 isn’t just the bigger features like the XP600 printhead or the 13-inch format, it’s the combination of automation and early warning systems working together.

A lot of people focus on print quality or speed, but what stood out to me is the smart alerts paired with the automated ink flow. That combination has the potential to solve one of the most frustrating parts of DTF that doesn’t always get talked about enough, the silent failures. The kind where everything looks fine until you realize halfway through a run that something shifted, clogged slightly, or didn’t lay down correctly.

If the D2 can truly catch those issues early and maintain consistent ink flow without constant babysitting, that’s a huge shift from reacting to problems to actually preventing them.

The first thing I’d want to try is running a longer batch of mixed designs back-to-back, especially ones with heavy white layers and fine detail. Not just to see how it prints, but to see how it holds up over time without intervention. Consistency across multiple prints is where a lot of setups start to struggle, so that’s where I’d really want to put it to the test.

If it can handle that smoothly, that’s a game changer for both workflow and confidence in the machine.

It’s amazing—I love it! It’s incredible what this company has achieved; they’ve done and created things that no one else has been able to do. I know the Loklik family will make the most of it!

I genuinely love my D1 printer — it’s been a solid part of my creative workflow, and it’s helped me bring so many ideas to life. But as much as I appreciate it, I’ve also learned its quirks: the constant toggling, the consent running, and those moments when the white ink doesn’t lay as evenly as I’d like. So when I saw the new features on the D2, it felt like the perfect evolution of what I already enjoy about the D1.
What caught my eye first is how the D2 is built to make printing simple again.
More clog‑resistant ink flow and less maintenance means more creating and less troubleshooting.
The 13-inch wide-format printing powered by the XP600 printhead is a huge upgrade — more stability, more reliability, and more space for bigger, bolder designs.
The smart alert system is a lifesaver. Catching issues early would save me time, film, and frustration.
And the fact that the RIP and image processing are combined into one software is a dream. CMYK + White 6-channel printing with better color, sharper detail, and smoother output? That’s exactly the kind of consistency I’ve been wanting.
What excites me most is the chance to compare the D1 and D2 side-by-side. I know my D1 inside and out — its strengths, its quirks, and how to get the best out of it. Being able to test the D2’s improved ink flow, wider format, and smarter workflow would give me a real, honest perspective on how much of a difference these upgrades make for everyday creators like me.
The D2 feels like the next step forward — lower cost to maintain, easier to run, and designed for makers who want quality without constant babysitting. I would love the opportunity to put it through real-world use in my studio and share the results with others who are trying to decide which printer is right for them.

I want this DTF printer because it would let me take my crafting to a new level. I could create professional‑grade transfers right at home — perfect for shirts, bags, banners, and all the custom designs I love making for Cricut and Canva projects. It would give me the freedom to print exactly what I imagine, with the colors, clarity, and durability I need for both personal and small‑business projects.
Having this printer would mean more creative control, fewer limitations, and the ability to produce high‑quality designs without outsourcing. It’s the kind of tool that opens up new possibilities, and I’m excited about everything I could make with it.

Having the DTF printer would make so much of a difference as it would give me the ease of printing items as they are requested rather than having to wait on purchasing it from an outside vendor. It would also be a significant money saver as I could print items out.

It looks like it’s going to fill the huge chasm between the fit-and-forget low maintenance inkjet printers and the nightmarish high maintenance previous generation of DTF printers.
I’m positive that this machine is going to propel HTVRont to become the market leader in desktop DTF.

I was reading up a bit more about DTF in general and it seems that, for all machines, not just HTVRont, the printhead is classed as a consumable item.
Even with the superb Epson-made XP600 printhead, as used in the D2, the specially formulated inks really take a toll and can wear them out in as little as 4 - 6 months!
