Crafters, I need your advice!
What’s the best way to clean off paper residue from a cutting mat like this?

That just water get the paper wet and rub off with your hand dawn can take the sticky off honestly water to get the biggest part off then you can use unseated whiles too if you want to while it down too I have used other things they work but mat doesn’t last as long . I use older green mats or blue for paper usually.

I start by scraping the paper using a tool, and sometimes I use a sponge with water and soap. But when I’m busy and things are moving quickly, I use alcohol,though it’s not very effective. In those cases, I change the orientation of the mat and use the other side. I clean it thoroughly once the work is done.
