Won't save my design for stickers

I have been making stickers for my jelly lately. So far it’s been OK but today I tried to save a page of them and it wouldn’t let me. the ‘save’ option was grayed out.

I was able to print and cut them, but I’d really like to save them since they were both grape and peach jelly stickers and we’re still not done with the jelly making and I don’t know how many more I’l need. I am afraid to just shut down the software and restart thinking I’ll lose the design.

I had done a page of grape and that printed and saved, but then added the peach to that after deleting half of the grape - so half grape and half peach.

the software tells me that the file is larger than 5MB. not sure why that is since the full page of grape - passed the size test. I did only replace half the grape with the peach. all the same size, all configured the same.

I was able to take the peach group - copy it and save it to a new file, but curious as to why I couldn’t save them together? that would help going forward. some of each on the same design file.

thanks for suggestions. now that I was able to save the peach design I’ll close and restart and see what happens.

Yeah, I was going to suggest splitting the designs up and save the peach as one file and save the grapes as another.
Unfortunately at the moment your save project has a limit size of 5mb. This has been brought up in many discussions and loklik are looking to increase the size in a future update.

What made no sense to me was that the peach files were the same size and complexity of the other files. I just substituted one for the other so as to put them all on one page. not sure why the peach files would have put me over the limit when the grape files (all same size and complexity and number of them) didn’t? I did get it to work by splitting them. now it’s more curiosity than anything. I’m always trying to understand why things work. thanks for responding

I live by curiosity, sometimes to my determent. Some days I go down a rabbit hole because of curiosity. Your case is a bit weird though, did all the assets you were trying to save in the project equal more than the limit?
