I am Kimberly Salayandia, the crafter behind SkyiCreations. I started SkyiCreations a few years ago after creating a paper flower backdrop for a family member. I was in no way an expert in paper flowers but my family member insisted and that is where my love for paper flowers began. My business name SkyiCreations was made with my daughter’s in mind, "S"ophia, "K"atherine, “y” (and in spanish), "I"sabella. They are my number one inspiration to push myself to learn and become better with each day. I have since had one more child, finally my baby boy Leon and have been married to my high school sweetheart for 15 years, dating for 20 years. I am a crafting mommy of 4, a DIY parent for my students’ school, and a “oh, I can do that!” type of person. I hope to be able to share the tips and tricks I have learned through the years with other crafters. I hope to help crafters whether they craft as a hobby, as a teacher, a DIY mom or as a business, learn the possibilities of paper crafts.
