I’ve followed the instructions on installing software to my computer. I’ve also reached out to customer service for help with good result. Does anyone know why by better print app controls are all greyed out?

hey Darrell, can you explain in more detail what you mean by “better print greyed out?” is this in the print then cut area in LLiS or on your printer settings?

Hello,@darrell_roberson. Please check whether your USB is properly connected. You’ll need to make sure the indicator is green, if the USB isn’t connected, it will appear grey in the BetterPrint app. Hope this helps

Thank you everyone for reaching out. I’ve been swamped. I have so far still not been able to get my printer functional. My control panel doesn’t even work. I assumed all controls were done through the better printer app until I watched a video on you today. I’m starting to think my machine is defective. I was in the first couple of round of precoders,
I tried again. the USB and dongle were connected. I also notice that the control panel on my machine is not functional. is it possible that the printer is defective? if so, what are my options?
I am not familiar with tyour printer, or which country you are in. Try this, on the USA HTVRont website there is a Support button on the menu. If you are not USA drop the flag button down on the top right of the menu and change it to e.g. UK
