HTVRONT A200 Auto Tumbler Heat Press 40oz Curved Tumbler Attachment Hands-On Review
For this portion of my hands-on review, I’m focusing specifically on the 40 oz curved tumbler attachment for the HTVRONT A200 Auto Tumbler Heat Press and my experience creating a full-coverage curved tumbler from start to finish.
Design & Prep
I created my design in Canva and I decided to print the design from Publisher (my go-to for printing sublimation designs) as I wanted to try a full-coverage “hack” I learned from another craft friend. This method allowed me to control the sizing more precisely and achieve the full-wrap coverage I was aiming for on the curved tumbler.
Once printed, I carefully wrapped the design around the tumbler using heat-resistant tape, making sure the paper was tight, smooth, and properly aligned, especially important when working with a curved surface to avoid gaps or overlap lines.
Machine Setup
Next, I inserted the 40 oz curved heat plate into the A200. Swapping out the plates was straightforward and didn’t feel complicated or intimidating, even for someone newer to interchangeable attachments.
Pressing Settings
For this project, I pressed using the following settings:
- Temperature: 390°F
- Time: 220 seconds
- Pressure: 130 lbs
I then used the curved tumbler pressing mat, placing it around the tumbler before loading it into the machine. Once the tumbler was loaded and the settings were dialed in, the A200 handled the rest. The auto press feature kept everything steady and consistent throughout the cycle, which took a lot of the guesswork out of the process.
Final Results
The finished tumbler looks fantastic. The design transferred cleanly and evenly across the curved surface with excellent full coverage. Colors were vibrant, edges were crisp, and there were no visible light spots, ghosting, or pressure inconsistencies along the curve.
Overall Thoughts on the 40 oz Curved Attachment
The 40 oz curved tumbler attachment performed extremely well. It’s clear this attachment was designed to make curved tumblers effortless to make. The fit, pressure distribution, and overall ease of use made this project feel smooth from start to finish.
If you create full-wrap 40 oz tumblers, this attachment is a strong option. It delivers consistent results while minimizing common issues that can come with curved surfaces, making it a reliable choice for both hobbyists and small business owners.
