Hi everyone, I wanted to share something I think many of us might have experienced: the shipping fees in Loklik’s official European store — and I assume in other regional stores as well — really need some adjustment. At the moment, shipping costs €14.95 no matter what you buy, regardless of size or weight.
For example, if I just want to order a roll of permanent vinyl that costs €6.99, I have to pay €21.94 in total.
That means shipping alone costs more than twice the price of the product itself, to ship a vinyl from Belgium to Spain!!!
I’m attaching a screenshot of my cart — the breakdown shows that VAT is also applied to shipping, so the €14.95 already includes tax.
I understand they use a flat-rate shipping system (for each Europe shipping zone they have considered), probably assuming you’ll buy heavier or bulkier items.
But that also doesn’t make sense, because those kinds of items (like the machine or presses) usually cost over €80, and shipping is free over that amount.
So this flat fee really only affects those of us trying to place smaller orders or restock materials.
Plus, many of their products and accessories aren’t available on their Amazon store, so that’s not a workaround either.
Loklik doesn’t have a huge product catalog (at least in Europe), so it really shouldn’t be difficult to implement a more precise system with shipping fees based on weight or volume.
That would definitely encourage smaller purchases without forcing us to fill the cart just to justify the shipping.
