I’ve always loved designing, sewing, and creating unique pieces, so when I heard about this challenge, I knew I had to go for it—CHALLENGE ACCEPTED!
Fashion has always been a passion of mine, especially children’s wear. As a mum, I wanted my little girl to have the trendiest outfits, but without the crazy price tags. That’s when it hit me—why not create them myself?
What started as a little idea soon turned into something so much bigger. I put my designs out there, worked with influencers to showcase them, and before I knew it, sales started coming in! It still amazes me how something that began as a simple passion project has grown into something real.
If you saw my International Women’s Day post, you’ll know that my mother is the reason I’m able to do what I love. She taught me everything I know, and now, every stitch I sew is a reminder of the skills she passed down to me. She inspired me to chase my dreams, and now I’m living them.
Bringing My Designs to Life
Choosing the right fabrics is such a huge part of the process, and for these pieces, I used:
Scuba fabric – structured yet smooth for a sleek, polished look
Georgette – light and airy, perfect for effortless movement
Chiffon – delicate and elegant, adding that soft, dreamy touch
Waffle fabric – textured and cosy, making comfort just as stylish
And Here’s the Final Result…
Seeing these fabrics transform into actual outfits is the most rewarding feeling! Every piece is handmade with love, creativity, and a whole lot of passion—and I couldn’t be prouder.
I’d love to hear what you think—which design is your favourite? Let me know in the comments!
