Since this community has the most creative minds I would like to ask some help to take better pictures… can you guys share your ideas of backdground to take pictures? I have a medium size light box but I really don’t know how to make an eye catching background ![]()
ZOOM INNNNNNNNNNNNNN! and crop
You could try different things like fabric or craft paper (with or without patterns) and small props like flowers. ![]()
You should check this out. I’m also trying to make my projects pop. ![]()

Thanks for the tips ![]()
I’ll try it ![]()
I use a variety of different things. The one I think I like most is dry erase boards.
I also enjoy finding contact paper, faux tiles, etc and putting them on a thin piece of ply.
Thanks @Nikita_Grimes, it helped me a lot! ![]()
Wow😍this is so creative.
Oh I love it’
Your pictures are so clean! I love it! Do you use some app or software for the background?
After I take the photos I pull them into Lightroom to edit the color/contrast/etc. That is also where I clone the edges if my background didn’t cover the whole area
or I use generative fill in photoshop.
Ahhh! Ok! I will try!
Your photos are amazing! ![]()
Thank you!
I am having a hard time taking pretty pictures too!
and sometimes I don’t have time or patience to edit so I have been using this method for years…
I printed my logo tiled and used it as background
I used to have bigger ones printed on tarpaulin when I made bigger projects
sometimes I use a fabric as background
working at night it’s hard to get natural light… but yes these pictures are amazing! ![]()
