Just wondering if anyone else wishes we could save or export our projects in Loklik Idea Studio as PNG, JPEG, or SVG files? It would be super handy for sharing designs with friends who use different cutting machines or software, or even just to keep a copy of the artwork outside the app.
Right now, it looks like projects can only be used inside Idea Studio, which makes it a bit hard to collaborate or switch between machines.
Hopefully Loklik can add this in a future update — I think a lot of us would love that!
Yes, we have talked about this feature. It would be really nice add. Unfortunately, there is some red tape with copy right issues and commercial licensing to take into account. It’s still in discussion so maybe one day it will be added.
Currently, you can saved your design through PDF file when you select it under file and print it as PDF then later convert it to JPEG or PNG file as you wish. On the other hand, if you are just using a simple vinyl cut like this, it would be possible but then again it depends how intricate you designs are or what type of applications you want to do?
