Hello, I haven’t in some time. I used to use app v2.0.1 and when I imported a image it walked me through converting it to a cutting pattern for vinyl.
Today it upgraded to 2.4.1 and no longer walks me through the process. Additionally, it seems to default to “Print then cut”. I can’t seem to turn my images into a vinyl cut pattern.
Is there a trick in the new version?

Hi, yes the update changed the way you upload images. To the left of your screen you can see two tabs now one is layers and the other is design. If you click on your image that you uploaded and click on design you can then do your background remover and choose standard cut or print then cut operation for your image. I have a video as well explaining everything new in the update and how it works. If you want to cut vinyl you would want to choose the standard cut option.
You need to select remove background on the side tab then there’s option for standard cut or print and cut to make the contour files
It took me sometime to realize that! I´m not good at discovering what I call “one touch”

It sounds like the update changed some default settings. In version 2.4.1, try checking your settings to see if there’s an option to switch from “Print then Cut” to straight “Cut” mode. You can also explore the layers panel to ensure your image is set to “Cut” rather than “Print”. Additionally, see if there’s an option to revert to a legacy version or check for tutorials related to the new version for any updated steps.
