Hello @Sazzygma1977! Welcome to the community! We’re so glad you’re here.

If your colors are looking off on the HTVRONT D1, here are the things to check first. Most color issues come from the white underbase, the file type, or the RIP settings, not the CMYK sliders.

To help you get the right settings, can you tell me:

  1. Which RIP are you using — RIIN, Better Printer, or Acrorip
  2. Whether your artwork is a PNG with a transparent background
  3. If the colors are printing too dark, too light, or just not matching the screen
  4. What your white ink density is set to
  5. Whether you have Spot1 only selected for white ink
  6. If you shook your white ink before printing
  7. What film you’re using and whether the matte/rough side is facing up

Here’s a solid starting point while we troubleshoot:

  • Use a PNG with transparency
  • Make sure Spot1 only is selected
  • Set White Ink Density around –20
  • Shake your white ink before printing
  • Print on the matte side of the film

These steps fix the majority of “color off” issues on the D1. Once you share your answers, we can dial in the exact settings you need.
