My DIY wishes for this year is to be more known as a craft influencer as all my social media is tutorial videos
I hope I can get more orders and costumers to be able to afford a co2 laser machine coz that’s the only thing I need and dream about
Thats sounds wonderful. I am not very knowledgeable with how to record and edit videos to be able to do that. I would love to learn but i have so much on my plate that it has to go on my bucket list. Lol
My top 2025 dream is to be more confident in sharing what I create. Not only sharing the final product photo but capturing tutorials and video tips to help others.
This is also my concern, I’m not well versed in taking ang editing pics and videos. I’m curious as to what type of lighting they use to make their videos bright and clear.
I don’t do much dear it takes lots of time
I use Inshot app cut the extra from my videos make them speeding and I add the voice in the app or in Instagram when I want to download them that’s it
Capturing videos needs lots of time but believe me it’s worth it to grow ur social media
And @timmytation
You really don’t need much to get started. Phone cameras are pretty good now, I do recommend getting a mic that sounds good though. Most phone mics aren’t great. I got some cheap ring lights that work really well to light up my space and that’s all you really need. Camera, lights and a mic. I use DaVinci resolve to edit videos and then you just upload to Facebook, Tiktok, YouTube etc. This is a link to video tutorials for DaVinci Resolve https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLVO4wQE4FqOlNYbndXsih1z8dMdQPrLei&si=Fo14X5Oxz1Q8eefD If you need any help let me know
Thanks for these tips, another problem of mine is that I hate the sound of my voice plus I’m a bit shy
maybe I’ll use AI to make the voice sound better
Hoping to get around to making videos so I can also join the program. Thanks again for your tips and suggestions
Oh totally me too, I hate the sound of my own voice. You do get over it a bit though. Like when I edit I don’t really listen I’m just looking for mistakes.
I’m not an overly out going person. In my youth I was, now I’m a hobbit lol.
Exactly, that is what I am hoping. I have to complete my projects anyway so it is now a matter of putting in that little extra effort to film while I do. I am using the time between school pickups to edit/cut and add voiceover so making a better use of my time.
Yes, I am so glad my phone does well to get a good video. I do use a headpiece for my audio which makes it easier if I need to step a little away from my phone. I will sure take a look at the DaVinci resolve. I am using Instagram to edit my videos and do the voiceover for now. But it is always a good thing to learn new things. Thanks!
Oh Thank You for the information! I’m getting ready to set up me online sites and this info will help me along my way!! Appreciate all the help and info.
This is me. I want to be an influencer but I’m shy. All my videos would have to be faceless.
I’m the same way. Shy and have my voice. I’ll do voice overs and faceless videos.
Yes to faceless videos
Im not really into growing my soical media but i would like to be able to record how to videos of different things that i do when people ask me to show them how to do something.
I would have to film faceless videos too I have the equipment to film cause I use it for online teaching but for some reason making craft videos seems way more intimidating than making my videos for school. I know that doesn’t make sense.
Yeah definitely faceless videos otherwise the people will start investigating your hair your eyes your skin and see the craft you are working on
Ooh yes me too. I just joined this lovely community.
Welcome wo the Loklik community. Looking forwards to your works
