Sawgrass printers are popular sublimation printers. I believe Epson and Brother make dedicated sublimation printers now too. Dedicated sublimation printers have an automated Maintenace cycle to help prevent clogs. They can be quite expensive though, but they are no hassle printers.

Most crafters opt for converting an Epson Eco Tank printer, pretty much any Epson Eco Tank can be converted to sublimation. This requires some know how and technology knowledge. Because after you convert the Epson Eco Tank you void the warranty of the printer and Epson won’t help you if you have any troubles. So, keep that in mind.

I have an Epson Eco Tank 1810 printer cost me $200 and $80 for Hippo Ink to go in it. I haven’t had any problems with it. I regularly print on it about once a week. You can store sublimation prints to use later, (store in a dry dark place) so if I find a design I like I can just print it and then press it months later.

If you have any more questions please don’t hesitate to ask

I own an Epson 8550 printer that I use for sublimation because of the 13x19 capability.
