Customise a Cap with an Embroidery Patch by Belle

In this tutorial I will explain how to customize a cap with an Iron On Embroidery patch using the HTVRont Hat Heat Press. The HTVRont Hat Heat Press is the same as the LOKLiK Hat Heat Press so if you have either you will be able to do this project.

Materials Needed

  • Blank Cap
  • Lint Roller
  • Teflon Sheet
  • Embroidery Patch with Iron On adhesive on the back

Step 1.
Set your hat heat press to 155C for 60seconds

Step 2.
Place your cap on the hat form that came with your hat heat press. Make sure the hat is pulled down tight around the hat form. If your hat has any bills or tongues make sure they are out so you get a nice flat surface to press.

Step 3.
Lint roll your hat to remove loose particles so the embroider patch adheres well

Step 4.
Line up your design. Place a Teflon sheet over your design. Now heat your design with your hat heat press. Apply medium amount of pressure. Take note if your design is wider than the heat press plate you may have to press multiple times to cover the whole design. You can set the timer to count down on the heat press by long pressing the power button.

Step 5.
Check if your patch stuck down everywhere. If it hasn’t press again in that area.

Step 6.
Take your cute new hat out for the day and wear it proudly.
