Customized Hat by Marin

The summer is on its way and we need to get that Hat press out of the box and start customising some hats

Today’s Tutorial should be eay peasy, I’m just gonna walk you through the steps and hopefully you’ll find it useful
What we need
:black_small_square:Loklik Ideastudio
:black_small_square:Laptop / Tablet / mobile
:black_small_square:Loklik crafter / Icraft
:black_small_square:Hat press
:black_small_square:Htv
:black_small_square:Weeding tools
:black_small_square:Heat resistant tape

From our Ideastudio I chose two mothers day designs and added them to the canvas.

I ungrouped both designs and changed the crown from one to another .

I made a little offset as the design is going to be small and wanted to make sure my crown looks good

From the heat transfer vinyl sheets bundle
I chose 3 colours to work with.
Then I measured the hat and resized my design.

Of course I chose the right materials from the settings as shown in the picture below.

Now that everything is ready I placed my htv on the mat, turned my Icraft on and pressed that start button.

Weeding was super fun and easy because we chose the right settings

Now I placed my hat on the cover and the special made ironing mat, then started placing the htv with the heat resistant tape to make sure it stays on its place.

I turned my automatic hat press on 155° Celsius for about 15 to 20 seconds.

When the temperature is ready you can start pressing the design on the hat, you can go slowly to the sides or up and down.
P. S to make the timer start press the turn on/off button for 2 to 3 seconds and the machine will beep and start counting.

After the time is finished remove the plastic carrier carefully, if you see some parts didn’t stick you can press again.
P. S some htv is cool peeling

And just like that the lame hat is turned into a cool hat for mommy to wear at the football field while cheering her kid :soccer::heart_eyes::sunglasses:
