Hello in new to the loklit iCraft machine, but have used the Cricut machines in the past. I’m trying to do a project where I’m cutting a shape out but also want to foil some images onto the design as well. I’ve got my design all set up, but when I go to ‘make’ it, it only seems to pick out the background image to cut and or foil, and not the logos. If I hid the background out and just leave my logos I get the message ‘the selected images has no vector outline’ . What am I doing wrong? Or can you not foil images?
I only have a crafter, but I think you should think of it like your Loklik should always use a cutting line and then you decide which tool to use. Loklik can only send images to the printer. Hope this helps.
You have to unhide and select any layer you want to take to the “Make” side of the app. That message pops when you have nothing selected, or the image selected is not a vector.
Those functions, any of them, need a vector, which is the information needed by the tools to follow paths/shapes. Whe you say foil some “images” are you refering to a vector shape or raster bitmap image? Non vector images are only printable, during print step of a print then cut. If you want to foil the area raster image shape occupies, you need to get/extract/create that vector shape. I hope I explainned it clear enough. If not, please let me know.
