Tip Tuesday: The Freezer Trick for Easier Weeding!
Did you know you can make weeding vinyl easier by using your freezer?
After cutting your design, place the vinyl sheet (with the carrier still on) in the freezer for about 30–60 seconds before you start weeding. The brief chill makes the adhesive slightly less tacky, which helps the excess vinyl lift away cleaner — especially for intricate designs or small lettering.
It’s a quick, mess-free trick that saves time and frustration!
Next time you’re working with fine HTV or adhesive vinyl, give the freezer trick a shot and see how much smoother your weeding goes.
day 21
Yesterday I ordered an ImPress mini3 and I can’t wait to try it out. Hopefully it arrives tomorrow so it can help decorate my bag.
I also ordered some Loklik adhesive vinyl Stencil has anyone tried it and how is it different from regular permanent vinyl?
Day 21: when phone calls wake you up way to early cause you couldn’t sleep the night before insomnia problems…. Today I made a post about believe in yourself. Hoping it starts some fun conversations.
Day 21- A hack I just can’t live without? When using HTV sometimes you make a mistake. We’re human. It happens. We work through it.
I work through my HTV mistakes with my HTVRont Mini hand press. I never knew when I first started that I would need one of these.
When I made a mistake with my HTV, I take my handheld , place it on the opposite side of the garment while on, take my weeding tool and pick off the HTV that I made the error with. It had been a product saver for me.
