I just unearthed a wooden picture frame from my craft stash—one of those forgotten gems tucked away in the wood pile. Instantly thought: this needs to be engraved and customized for my daughter. A little love, a little laser magic, and it’ll be a keepsake she’ll treasure.
It’s great knowing someone so TALENTED, SMART, BEAUTIFUL, and KIND…
…but it’s EVEN BETTER when she’s your DAUGHTER!

Oh I love this so much! There’s something extra special about turning a tucked-away treasure into a heartfelt keepsake—especially when it’s for your daughter. That mix of love and laser magic? Pure crafting gold. I bet she is going to LOVE it!
@Edz, Aww, thank you! It really did feel like a little bit of magic—taking something tucked away and giving it new life with a whole lot of heart (and a dash of laser sparkle ). I can’t wait to see her reaction! Moments like this remind me why I love making so much.
@BellethehowtoGuru, Thank you so much! That means a lot. There’s something extra meaningful about crafting for someone you love—especially when it’s your daughter. I’m sure your laser adventures are going to be amazing too! Can’t wait to see what you create once it arrives—get ready for some serious sparkle and sentiment!
@Teddi_Barela, @Marino, and @Marisol_Villanueva, Thank you so much! She’s my little sunshine, and this project was such a joy to make for her. It means a lot to hear that—it made both of us smile big today!
It is a as beautiful as meaningful project. I love that you empower her at the same time you make her feel loved.
The engraving is awesome. There is a darkeness in the bottom of the g that makes it more authentic. Is it a random effect? I love to learn from your engravings with all the details you share from such different projects. Well done again and thank you so much for sharing!
@redhada, Thank you so much for your kind words! That truly means a lot to me . 🩷 I always try to pour both intention and emotion into each piece, so knowing it resonated with you makes my day.
The engraving detail you noticed—especially that subtle darkness at the bottom of the “g”—was actually the wood grains being exposed on that part. You’ll notice unique variations in the engraving—those cool effects often come from the natural texture of each material and how the wood grain is positioned. Every piece tells its own story, shaped by the surface it’s carved into.
I’m so glad you enjoy the behind-the-scenes details! Sharing the process is one of my favorite parts, especially when it sparks curiosity and connection like this. I’ve got a few more projects coming up that play with contrast and layering—can’t wait to share those too.
Thanks again for your thoughtful message and for being part of this creative journey with me
@kat, Aww, thank you so much! That truly means a lot . I love finding little ways to add heart and personality into each piece—it’s like giving even the simplest things their own little spotlight. Your words just made my day!
