This is a funny double-sided door hanger, like the ones used in hotels, designed for a science student’s room — perfect for exam periods when full concentration is needed.
It’s made in two language versions (Spanish and English). On the Do Not Disturb side, it says:
-
“Do Not Disturb” - “No Molestar” (with a hand-drawn atom doodle)
-
“High Brain Voltage” - “Alto Voltaje Neuronal” (decorated with lightning bolts from the library, layered on top)
-
“Keep Out” - “No Entrar” (with a radioactive symbol)
On the reverse, it simply says Welcome / Bienvenido. Also with some lightnings
All the text is hand-drawn by me in thin uppercase lettering.
The Do Not Disturb side is in blue, with a cream offset for print then cut. It’s built in four layers using 230g neon magenta cardstock and glossy photopaper. With an interior offset, there’s a layer made with printed paper featuring a fun science-and-study doodle pattern I designed and included in the project for the community to use and customize colours.
The Welcome side only uses the neon cardstock layer with letters cut and glued on top.
This is a fun and easy DiY that can be done with any material — adhesive vinyl, printed paper, plastic… just be creative!
