I just made my very first resin-coated keychain!
I was inspired by a beautiful image I found from a fellow crafter online, and I wanted to turn it into a Bible-inspired design.
For this project, I cut the holographic vinyl sticker using my iCraft machine and applied it onto an acrylic blank, then coated it with UV Resin – Hard. The holographic vinyl and resin worked together perfectly, creating a sparkling, multi-dimensional finish that really makes the keychain shine.
Being my first time, I was so excited that I touched the resin too soon, leaving fingerprints on the surface. I had to apply a second coat to fix it, but it was all part of the learning experience. First-time experiences are always full of surprises!
My advice to fellow crafters: Crafting is a work of art that requires patience. Every little challenge is an opportunity to learn, and the joy of creating something by hand is always worth it.
