DIY Project Sharing | Halloween Scary Pumpkin Face Glass Lantern (Reversible)

:jack_o_lantern::sparkles: Double the spook, double the sparkle! Halloween’s creeping closer, so I whipped up this Reversible Lantern featuring two festive moods: a Scary Pumpkin Face for those spine-tingling vibes and a Happy Halloween Witches design that’s all charm and cackle. Perfect for indoor or outdoor decor, and let me tell you—it glows like magic once the sun goes down! I’m obsessed with how it turned out, and the best part? I get to flip the vibe whenever I want. One lantern, two looks, endless Halloween joy! :orange_heart:

Such a great project, I love it so much :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: where did you get the blank you used from?

Aww thank you so much! :orange_heart: I had so much fun making this one—it totally lights up my spooky season! I grabbed the blank from Hobby Lobby Store 6 years ago, and it worked like a charm for both sides of the design. If you try it out, I’d love to see what you make! :jack_o_lantern::sparkles:

Woow @rinsky what a cleaver idea!

Silly question… can´t you get those glass blocks in regular construction and renovation stores there?!

That’s actually an amazing idea, thanks for sharing :star_struck:

Hi! Yes, you can find them there—and at a few other hardware stores too. I was originally looking for actual frosted glass, but wow, it’s pricey compared to the clear ones! So I went with a frosted glass spray paint instead, and it worked like a charm. A little Mod Podge and some glitter added the perfect finishing touch to the hack!
